Contra dancing is fun and fast-paced. It’s easy to learn and you don’t need to bring a partner (unless you want to, of course). Tucson Friends of Traditional Music consists of a friendly and diverse community that enjoys dancing, live music and a good time. Come join us for an evening and discover contra dancing. We usually dance every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday.
Every evening begins with a lesson that starts promptly at 6:30 pm, so arrive early to be ready to dance at 6:30 pm. Main dance starts at 7 pm. Suggested donation $10 (general admission), $5 for 25 years and under. $5 gets you a membership button. Show your ‘button’ and get $1 off general admission.
