SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE WINNER JOSHUA ALLEN TO OFFER FREE COMMUNITY DANCE SESSION AT MESA RIVERVIEW PARK, WEDNESDAY
Come, Kick Up Your Heels, Have a Good Time

WHAT
• Joshua Allen, who won the 4th season of the hit show So You Think You Can Dance at age 18, will offer a free, fun hip-hop/contemporary dance outing for the entire community.
• Allen was featured in the 2011 remake of the Kevin Bacon film, Footloose, and was the choreographer for Oxygen Network’s Dance Your Ass Off. He has appeared on EllenDeGeneres’ and Bonnie Hunt’s TV shows and in commercials for Honda and McDonalds.

WHEN
• The free community dance event begins at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 19.

WHERE
• Just south of the 50-foot Genesis Climbing Tower at Mesa Riverview Park, 2100 W. 8th St., Mesa (near Dobson Road just north of Rio Salado Parkway, across the street from the Mesa Riverview Shopping Center)

HOW
• There is no official program. Just bring your dancin’ shoes and best smile and dance with Joshua. THIS IS OUTSIDE ON THE GRASS SO IT’S RECOMMENDED TO WEAR TENNIS SHOES AND LIGHT COMFORTABLE CLOTHING. BRING SUNSCREEN, WATER AND TOWEL.
