Description: Act One was created last year by the founders of ON Media to support educational field trips to the visual and performing arts for Arizona’s underserved schools. Executive Director Teniqua Broughton has designed Art Source as an event for educators in order to showcase arts and culture organizations’ arts education programs for the 2012-2013 school year. Any interested arts and culture organization is welcome to register for a booth at the event, free of charge. Art Source will take place Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at the Tempe Center for the Arts. The event will be marketed to anyone connected to education or arts education, such as principals, arts specialists, parents, school board members and classroom teachers.
Booth registration deadline is August 20 by 5:00pm. Event registration deadline is August 25.
