Description: What do you get when you combine a massive teeter-totter structure — be it a giant cube that turns into a pyramid, a huge spinning wheel or a ship-like platform — with a group of dancers trained in ballet, modern dance, martial arts and acrobatics? The answer is Diavolo: exhilarating dance art-chitecture that offers an almost cinematic experience, eliciting gasps and cheers from the audience. The dancers of Diavolo leap, fly, twirl, catapult, slam and swan-dive, ricocheting from one end of the stage to the other, slithering in and out of apertures and flinging themselves at 45-degree angles.
