We strive to choose beneficiaries that address community issues, especially those that affect marginalized and underserved areas. This year’s beneficiary is ASAVET CHARITIES. Asavet Charities is a 501(c)(3) (tax-exempt) non-profit organization created in Arizona in 2014 to help animals and their owners. Their goal is to promote affordable veterinary care for all people. About The Leaps for Lives Dance Company:
Our Mission:
We are dedicated to the art of dance and the power of community. We offer a welcoming space for dancers regardless of background or experience. Through our inclusive programs and productions we raise funding and awareness for Southern Arizona animal rescues and pediatric cancer organizations.
About Us:
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations. We are proud to have made thousands of dollars in contributions to these organizations in our first 10 years!
This program was funded in part by Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona with funding from National Endowment for the Arts Federal CARES, City of Tucson, and Pima County
