AZDEO’s Professional Development: Leaps and Turns (Phoenix)

AzDEO invites you to a professional development workshop, “Leaps and Turns” for dance educators, college students, dancers, etc. This workshop presented by Claire Schmaltz will focus on building technique to improve leaps and turns, increasing your ability to share with your students.
Claire Schmaltz is a nonprofit arts professional and teaching artist who has worked within a range of educational and arts organizations. She believes that arts education, opportunities for arts engagement, and art creation is critical for individuals of all ages.
Claire has been with Ballet Arizona since 2019, starting as an intern for Community Engagement and now serves as the Community Engagement Manager. Claire trained as a dancer for the majority of her life and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Grand Canyon University.
