Join Ballet Arizona for a lecture delivered by special guest speaker Dr. Mathew Sandoval who will be exploring the life and legacy of Frida Kahlo!
Dr. Mathew Sandoval, award-winning scholar and ASU professor, will take you on a fascinating journey through Frida’s transformation—from a little-known Mexican painter to a global symbol of resilience, creativity, and cultural revolution. Learn about her art, her ties to the Mexican Renaissance, and the phenomenon of “Fridamania” that continues to captivate the world.
