Join Convergence Ballet for a FREE fall pop-up performance featuring stunning choreography by Kevin Jenkins, a Bob Fosse inspired classic and excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty. It is an evening showcasing classical and contemporary ballet, and theatre jazz paying homage to one of Broadway’s best. This FREE pop-up performance will take place Saturday, Oct. 7th from 6:00 – 7:00pm in the Pavilion at the Herberger Theater Center.

Kevin Jenkins will be setting his piece Pastoral Symphony on Convergence company members to create themes and motifs that highlight the classical vocabulary as well as the moving formations through Beethoven’s score of the same name. An original piece by Lainie Seretis will also be featured that explores the nature of the seasons of life and the universal themes many can relate to. A Cabaret classic, Mein Herr will showcase company members letting their hair down and kicking up their heels. And to round out the evening variations from The Sleeping Beauty will be performed.
