Conversation & Creation: An Odissi dancer’s process–Scottsdale

Join us to learn more about meaning and musicality in creating dance through the process of Kaberi Sen (Odissi Dancer) and Anjan Saha (Sitarist). We will also get a glimpse of some of their work live in a traditional intimate setting. Tea and snacks will be served. Donations are welcome. Kaberi Sen is an Odissi dancer and scholar. A recipient of several awards, she is a graded artist of Doordarshan TV, scholarship recipient from the Department of Tourism & Culture of India and from Rabindra Bharati University, where she has just completed her PhD. Anjan Saha is a Sitar exponent. He is an empanelled artist of ICCR, a graded artist for All India Radio and scholarship recipient from the Department of Tourism & Culture of India, and has been recognized with several awards. They have both performed extensively in India and Europe, have several compositions to their credit, and are the founders of Divine Inspiration School of Performing Arts in Kolkata, India.
