Be a part of the creative process from beginning to end! Dance in a Day is a workshop designed to give dancers and choreographers an inside look at dancemaking from three different artists perspectives.
From creating material and developing ideas, to packaging and presenting your work, this workshop gives you hands-on experience that will expand your creative toolbox.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
10-11:30am > MATERIAL
Warm up class and create base material to work with throughout the day.
11:45-1pm > PROCESS
Building on and manipulating material from the first session and developing new ideas to add on.
1-2pm > Q&A LUNCH
A chance to talk with the choreographers about their work, the community, and careers in the field.
2-3:30pm > PACKAGE
Putting together the pieces and adding final touches to make a complete package.
3:45pm > SHOWING
Showing new work created throughout the day with a live stream to share with your network!
