Dancing with Animals Storytelling Drum & Dance Festival of Tales (PHX)

freeThe PVCC dance department is partnering with local drummers to host a free “Dancing with Animals” drum and dance animal storytelling and movement workshop. Everyone of all ages is welcome to join in the fun, listen to animal stories and drum and dance with us!
Everyone of all ages is welcome to join in the fun, listen to animal stories and drum and dance with us! The activities will start at 9 am, repeating at 10:30 am. Most of the drummers will play in the second half followed by a drum circle at 12. Drummers feel free to bring all your percussion to share with the kids. We will be performing across the walkway in the grass area behind the KSC building.

The FESTIVAL OF TALES is a free fun day of reading, literacy and cultural activities for children that includes storytelling, arts and crafts, games, face painting, live music, food trucks and much more!
In its ninth year at Paradise Valley Community College, the event brings books to life through the art of storytelling and provides almost 5,000 FREE books to children who participate in the activities.
