[nueBOX] and CONDER/dance are seeking applications from local choreographers and artist collectives for dance work that is in the middle stage of its development. This residency can be used to reimagine or further research of previous projects and current projects that are beyond the initial stages of development. Artists will work with [nueBOX] and Breaking Ground staff to prepare a contemporary dance work that will premiere on the main stage at Breaking Ground: Contemporary Dance and Film Festival in January 2018. The residency will provide artists with a space to create, opportunities to receive feedback, documentation and publicity. Applicant will receive one performance and technical rehearsal for the festival. There will be two WIPS and one workshop surrounding the research and process of chosen artist/s. Artist/s will receive a $250 stipend
