Dancer Requirements:
Have flexible schedule and be available to rehearse and perform.
Be versatile and have performance experience in modern dance.
Experience in other dance forms and performing arts disciplines is a PLUS.
Must be responsible with reliable transportation.
Regularly scheduled classes/rehearsals:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm
Saturdays from 1:00pm-4:00pm and/or some Sundays as needed
Schedule may vary as needed, especially during the summer.
We understand that dancers may have jobs and other obligations, so we will consider that when casting and scheduling.
Rehearsals will begin ASAP!

JULY 22 & 24 (Contemporary Modern Fusion)
Instructor: Jeremiah D Jenkins
Jeremiah D Jenkins earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts at Sam Houston State University. He has danced with numerous Dance Companies around the U.S. Including; Urban Souls (TX), Dulce Dance Company & Scorpios Dance Theater (AZ), Gaspard Dance Company (NYC) Lotus Contemporary Arts Co-Artistic Director (ATX), Halo Dance Company (AZ) and has guest artist with numerous companies as a independent artist. Jeremiah has had his worked selected at Breaking Ground Dance Festival, BETA Dance Festival, MultiPurpose Dance Works, Las Vegas Dancing in the Desert Festival to name a few. Jeremiah participated in Dance Italia on a full scholarship in Lucca Italy. He has taught in over 6 states, for numerous dance studios and multiple Master Classes. He also sits on the Judges Panel for 8 National Dance Competition and on faculty for Motiv8 Dance Conventions State wide.
Class Description: Contemporary Modern Fusion
Through Contemporary modern fusion we will explore the length and physical ability of the body. While exploring classical lines and technical phrase works with Horton and Limon influenced movements. Prepare to test the bodies ability to fly through space, the minds ability to express the deepest of emotions through gestural movement and the natural flow we create through transitions. A physically demanding but soul satisfying class! Come ready to sweat, ready to invest, and ready to dance your heart out!
