The HistioCURE Foundation has been created with one purpose – to find a CURE for all histiocytic disorders. Their mission is to raise funds to support major research programs focused on finding a CURE for these diseases. Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis is a rare form of pediatric cancer that has touched our dance company personally, and while our founder and her son are on the brighter side of diagnosis, there are still countless numbers of children and families facing the tribulation of pediatric cancer treatments and the life long consequences of those harsh treatments. Through this production, we hope to support those families.
About The Leaps for Lives Dance Company: Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for Southern Arizona pet rescue organizations through dance productions. We are dedicated to the art of dance and to the well-being of our four-legged companions. In 2016, we expanded our mission to include raising funds and awareness of pediatric cancer organizations.
About Us: We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. We are proud to have made thousands of dollars in contributions to local rescues in our first six years!
Support for the project is provided by The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, funded by the City of Tucson and Pima County.
