Instructor: George Johnson

Class Title: Fundamentals of Salsa Dance

Description: The class will focus on Salsa Dance and the fundamental steps. Students will learn the proper technique of Cuban motion, and become more familiar with the different aspects of partnering.

George Johnson has been Dancing in Arizona for over 20 years with numerous dance companies including Movement Source, Dulce Dance Company, and Desert Dance Theatre.  George trained in Ballroom Dance at Dance Starz AZ, and has been a Ballroom dance instructor for over 3 years. For the past 4 years, he has worked with the Dancing for Arizona’s Children event as a dancers and choreographer.

Master Classes will be offered by Company Members of ADF Participants.
Who can take classes? Anyone who can move their bodies, ages 16 years and up.
Class Limit: 25

Dates: October 3-5, 2019
Location: Yavapai College, Prescott, AZ, Building 15, Room 260 (building attached to, and behind the YCPAC theatre)

FREE – First 10 ADF Participants/YC Performing Arts Students
$10 – ADF Participants/YC Performing Arts Students
$15 – YC Student
$20 Single Class for General Public
