Movement Source Presents “Our Stories” (Tempe)

Movement Source presents “Our Stories” at the Tempe History Museum. Our stories, danced, lived and shared, compel us to connect with one another and find common ground, to understand and be understood. The company will be presenting individual and collective stories created this 2018/2019 season with the following collaborators: violinist and composer, Tobie Milford; poet and spoken word artist, Megan Atencia; choreographer, Liliana Gomez; guest cellist, Jonathan Cain; filmmakers, Lawrence Fung, Kate Brown, and Stephen Perry. The performance will also include a piece previously performed at the October ASU conference, Jews and Jewishness in the Dance World. Come watch, listen, reflect and connect with the captivating stories by performing artists in our local community.
Friday, March 15th, 8 pm, and Saturday, March 16th, 2 pm and 8 pm. Ticket prices $15 each, or $10 for students and seniors.
Show runs approximately 1 hour and is an all ages performance.
