Special Contra dance with STEAM!

$10Tucson Friends of Traditional Music kicks off its fall schedule with a special contra dance featuring STEAM! . Balancing drive with uplifting elegance, spontaneous quirkiness, and lush harmonies, this band serves the dancer’s every need with intuitive musicality based on decades of combined experience. STEAM! plays an eclectic variety of tunes for contras; we love modern, old time, Irish, and French Canadian, adding a sprinkling of weird and wonderful tunes from around the world. STEAM!
Professional caliber calling will be provided by Tavi Merrill and Judy Zeidel.
Great fun, no partner required, intro lesson starts at 6:30 p.m.
