Dear Dance Artists and Companies,
I would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming THE GENESIS DANCE PROJECT (TGDP) that will take place at Tempe Center for the Arts Studio on January 9-10, 2015.  The festival will give you or your company great exposure, and it’s a fun way to share your art with colleagues from around the state and guests from out of state.

THE GENESIS DANCE PROJECT is open to individuals and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. Ten to fifteen dance slots per show will be selected to be performed. The applicant works will be adjudicated by a diverse panel of judges that are highly knowledgeable about dance.

Here’s how to apply:
You must submit the following by December 1, 2014:

1. Application form
2. Description form
3. Audition VHS Video/DVD/Online Video Link
4. $25 non-refundable application fee ($10 per additional audition pieces)

The audition VHS/DVD/Online Video Link must be the work that you are planning to show that has not been seen in any major Metro-Phoenix venues within 2 months prior to the show dates or a work that is representative of your current repertory with your current dance members.

If selected, you must sign a letter of agreement and pay a participation fee of $150 per dance up to a maximum of 10 minutes. This fee will go towards facility, production and publicity expenses.
