Presented by The School of Ballet Arizona’s Upper Division & Studio Company in the Dorrance Theatre, Ib Andersen’s Coppélia tells the story of an eccentric toy-maker, life-size dancing dolls, and a young couple in love. Love triumphs over all in this beloved ballet, with amusing mix-ups and costumed dolls coming to life.
This performance demonstrates the School’s remarkable accomplishments and gives audiences the rare opportunity to experience a performance by the next generation of Ballet Arizona.
