Xanadu Dance Studio presents Mideastern Traditional Dance/Music Show & Workshop
October 11, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm MST
Traditional Mideastern Dance & Music Performance, and Workshop with Helena Vlahos, Greek dancer, and Gamal Gomaa, Egyptian vocalist and tabla player. And the Xanadu Dance Company, contemporary Mideastern dance, and Danielle Van Dobben, Turkish dance.
Shows: Sat. Oct. 11, 1:00 – 2:00 PM, and Sunday, Oct. 12, 12 noon to 1:00 PM.
Both shows are free at the Global Rhythms Stage at Tucson Meet Yourself.

Dance and Drum workshops:
Sat. Oct. 11: 3:30 – 6:30 PM at Flor de Liz Dance Studio
3:30 – 5:15: Helena teaches traditional Mideastern Dance
5:30 – 6:30 Gamal teaches how to dance with a live drummer. Helena assists in Gamal’s class.
Price: For entire workshop: $70 Helena’s class only: $55, Gamal’s class only: $40
